Making Crystal Remedies
Crystal remedies are a way of enjoying the benefits of crystals in water. The method of making them involves putting the crystal into spring water and then leaving it in the sun, so that the sunlight can enable the transfer of the energy and its healing properties.
There are two type of preparation, one being energized water the other being a crystal remedy.
Energized water is made by placing a cleansed crystal, such as a piece of clear quartz, into a clear glass jug of spring water and leaving it in direct sunlight for an hour. Then take the crystal out and drink the water throughout the day to receive the benefits.
A Remedy is made by placing a cleansed crystal into a bowl of spring water and leaving it in direct sunlight for 3 hours. Take the crystal out and pour the energized water into a large dark glass bottle so that it is half full of energized water, and top it up with brandy. This is the” mother ” remedy. Shake the bottle and place it in a dark cupboard for 2 weeks. During this period, shake the mix periodically. To make the final remedy, fill a mall dark glass bottle up to two-thirds with spring water and top up with the “mother” remedy. Shake this bottle and here your have the finished stock bottle. 2 to 3 drops a day in a glass of water three times a days the desire dosage. This remedy can be kept indefinitely and produces many stock bottles.
As well as drinking remedies, they can also be added to bathe water to enhance relaxation. Use 4 drops per bath. They can also be dabbed on the Chakra points on your body. You can also use this remedy as a room spray in a pump action bottle.
Common crystals which are used in remedies include, Rose Quartz, Smoky Quartz, Aventurine, Amethyst and Citrine.
Meditation is an art form that balances the entire Chakra system into peace and harmony. It helps to quiet the mind of chatter and brings calm and tranquility to the body.

Twenty minutes a day of meditation is a good starting point first thing in the morning. Place your back against a hard backed chair with your legs un-crossed and- crossed and feet on the floor with your hands clasped loosely in front of your, or cross-legged on the floor is the best positions to begin meditating.
Focusing on a crystal
Using a crystal to focus on during meditation can contribute to the experience. You may use a crystal that your are drawn to, or one which heals a particular ailment.
There are two ways to meditate with crystals, first being to gaze at it. Meditation with focused eyes is a technique from Zen tradition, where contemplation stills the mind.
If your wish to try this method, set the crystal onto a plain cloth on a clean, clear surface. Light a candle next to the crystal. Put yourself into a meditating position and then allow your eyes to rest on the crystal and focus on it for as long as possible without looking away. Breathe rhythmically. If your focus moves away then look first at the candle then back at the crystal and continue your breathing.
Notice any thoughts that may come to your mind and let them flow away. Do this for 20 minutes at a time. Afterwards, make some notes in your journal of thoughts or images that your experienced whilst meditating.
The second way is to hold the crystal in your left hand and cover it with your right-hand. The left hand is receptive and the right-hand dynamic. By holding the crystal in this way, the Yin Yang balance of energy is maintained.
Relax, close your eyes and breathe calmly. Let your mind rest as your focus on the crystal between your hands. Notice how it feels and how your feel. Feel any sensations such as warmth or tingling in your hands or anywhere else in your body. This is the energy of the crystal interacting with your energy. Do this for 20 minutes at a time. Afterwards take notes in your journal of any thoughts or feelings your had whilst meditating.
Crystals can play a big part in maintaining positive thoughts and energies when placed around the home or work environment. They can be placed both indoors and outdoors in order to enjoy there benefits. Let your intuition guide your as to where your place your crystals.
Used inside, crystals bring a magical sparkling light to a space. In the bedroom, crystals have lively energy, especially Zincite which can interfere with sleep, so be sure to choose crystals that promote calm and restfulness. Amethyst, rose quartz or aventurine are good crystals to promote sleep. Even better if placed under the pillow.
If using crystals in your office space choose a crystal such as smoky quartz, black tourmaline or obsidian, as these are neutralizing and cleansing crystals. These will absorb negative waves which are emitted from computers or phones, and channel them back to earth.
outside in the open air, crystals can be placed amongst plants to enhance there energies. Green stones such as jade or aventurine, are particularly good to use because of there color and ability to enhance the energy matrix of nature. Larger crystals can be placed on there own in a space in the garden as a special feature.
Crystals also work well in water, so placing them in a water feature is a great idea. Add flowers and make a fountain out of the colorful crystals for a visual experience. Rose quartz, calcite and jasper are lovely crystals to use for this purpose.
You could also make an outside special meditation area and fill it with crystals. Small tumble stone crystals can be arranged in mosaic form around your special place.
Wearing Crystals as jewelry
in ancient Egyptian times, jewelry was worn with certain stones and crystals which demonstrated the ranking of the wearer, pointing out there spiritual power or there status( eg King or Queen, Leader or Priest) Stones and crystals such as topaz, emerald, ruby, diamonds and sapphires were commonly used.
